The Baseball
Shot for Photochallenge.org’s 2009 daily challenge #123, baseball.
I shot this with my 50mm f1.8 prime reversed in front of my 18-55 IS Zoom. It’s what some of my photography buddies call a “ghetto macro.”
Some notes about the ball, to explain what you may think is an odd monochrome. It is not a normal baseball. The ball I used was one of my daughter’s tee ball balls. It’s two tone, purple and silver, with white laces.
