It was a good summer for Dragonflys. We seemed to have a lot of them in our back yard. This one was just hanging out on a Tiger Lily stalk in the back garden. When O came closer with my camera he actually seemed to pose for me.
I love this image not only because of the posing dragonfly. But because of that out of focus stalk in the background. It give the photo a real sence of depth.
I think mister dragonfly would look great on a mug, or a sweatshirt, don’t you think? Of course a 16x20 canvas print would look amazing too. To see any of these options just click the photrade image below.
