My New Friend
While on our hike through the thousand acre swamp A week ago, we came across quite a few garter snakes. This one was nice enough to stop and pose in some colorful leaves. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garter_snake
This little guy is also my entry in this winter’s Aperture Nature Photography Workshop to Yosemite in January. It’s an all expense paid trip to Yosemite for one on one training with a professional photographer and the Apple Aperture pros. There will be four winners, and they are doing one of these a quarter.
