I hate being limited
The blossum of one of our backyard Chrysanthemums. Taken with my hacked macro set up.
I call it hacked because I didn’t really use a macro lens. I took my 50mm f1.8 and reversed it in front of my 18-55mm. I am told you can just hand hold it there, but I picked up a macro reversing ring to hold the 50mm to the front of my 18-55.
My daughter helped me convert her picnic table to an outdoor macro studio, last saturday and we shot a bunch of fall blooms and leaves, at least until the wind came up and blew the subjects out from under the camera. :)
