Better than it was

This photo was part of a self imposed learning exersize.  In an effort to improve my landscape photography, I shot this scene on a tripod using two different lenses and every aperture setting on them just to see which would come out the best.   This one was the winner.  (click the image to go to the Zooomr page and see the camera data.)

It still wasn’t as sharp as I wanted, but there was  a slight breeeze moving the leaves around a bit, so I think this was the best I was going to get.

I shot this from an overlook near Kodak’s Kings Landing water treatment plant on The Genesee River, in Rochester, NY.
