I chose this photo today for two reasons.   One, I wanted to ease you out of the scarey halloween themed photos of last week, and two, VFXY has a theme called darkness this week that I though this would be a good image for.   Ok it’s rteally only reason number two, but the first one sounded good, right?

This is an another image from the Thousand Acre Swamp in Penfield, NY.   The weed that was going to seed was highlighted by a single ray of sunlight in an other wise shadowed area.  Converting it to black and white just enhanced the effect that was already there.
