A rare photo of the real Santa Clause as he visits the Webster Fire Department’s annual Family Christmas party.
It was a bitter cold day, which worked well because Santa was able to land his sleigh at the Fire Department and ride in on a fire truck. The Kids inside got to decorate cookies, play games, and get balloon candy canes while they waited.
Once Santa and Mrs Clause made an appearance though, the children got a chance to sit with him, talk to him, and he gave them their first Christmas present.
My kindergarten age bobbin was there with a Christmas list she made herself, and although she wouldn’t sit on the jolly old elf’s lap she was happy enough to stand next to him and explain it all in detail. But what surprised her most was when she opened her gift and realized Santa had given her one of the items that was on her list even though she just gave him that list.
Santa truly is magical.
