Today’s image is a throw back to autumn.  No not summer, but fall.  This was taken in October,  I took the day off to spend time with the family.  For a bit of adventure we headed out to Penfield, NY’s Thousand Acre Swamp.

This flower, a member of the thistle family I think, was still on display, and even curled a few petals just to show off.

It’s been cold a grey here for a week, so I thought it would be nice to warm thing up a bit here on line.
