Walter
I’ve named this one Walter. He is one of two Goldfinches that have become regulars at my bird feeder. He seems to be the more sensible of the two.
Unfortunately this was shot through two layers of glass, so it’s not as sharp as it could be, but he was nice enough to pose for me, so I thought I’d post it here anyway.
Some warm morning this summer I think I will open up the windows in front of these feeders and see if the birds will come to the feeders anyway. Maybe if I get them used to me shooting them through the glass, they won’t mind if I am that close without the glass.
