So, I think to myself, baby, or no… I need to get out and shoot something new… I mean besides my newborn… So bleary eyed I grab my trusty canon and it’s 50-250 lens and head outside to capture some part of autumn before it disappears into the white wasteland that I know is just around the bend….

There is no honesty

Red Sky

There is a lot of “pixel abuse” going on here.  This started as a daytime shot of the moon, but I ran it through several filters in Tiffen DFX, added the cloud texture and finalized it with a High Contrast Pink monochrome filter to get this effect.  

It’s worth clicking the image to see it larger, The subtle blood red clouds come through better in the larger images.
